Ads of Yesteryear

A friend of mine recently sent me these pictures. Maybe you write alternate history, historical fiction, steampunk, whatever. Some of these ads make the fantasy seem more real than our recent past reality. These are are real. I'm not joking. 
I guess it's time for my three-year-old to start drinking cola!

  1. Wow! Christine, I'm male, but I feel the incredible urge to punch a marketing guy for coming up with these ads. I grinned at first, but then felt ashamed to be male with each subsequent ad...

  3. My _EX_ husband made the mistake of getting me Hoover for Christmas one year... my how times have changed. (Okay, I didn't kick him to the curb, JUST because of his rotten taste in Christmas gifts...but I thought about it!)
